What is Digital Signage, Anyway?

Glad you asked. It’s basically a screen connected to a small computer that runs an app (like aesend®) telling it what to show and when. That’s it. No wizardry, no smoke and mirrors — just a smart way to make your space look sharp, stay current, and say the right things without lifting a finger (okay, maybe one finger… to click “publish”).

Your Digital Signage Starter Pack

(aka: the recipe)

To cook up a beautiful, functioning digital sign, you only need a few ingredients:

1. A Screen

TV, monitor, fancy LED wall — if it shows a picture, it’ll work.

2. A Media Player

Think of it as the brain behind the screen. It could be a tiny PC, a stick-sized computer, or anything that can run a browser and stay connected to the internet.

3. An Internet Connection

Wi-Fi or Ethernet — just enough juice to keep things updated and pretty.

4. The Aesend App

This is where the magic happens. You log in, drag and drop your content, schedule what plays when, and we handle the rest. It’s like a remote control for all your screens — minus the sofa.

5. Power (duh)

Plug things in. Lights come on. Content rolls. You’re officially a signage wizard.
